Brandi Jones Bullock, Esq. is the managing attorney of Jones Bullock, PLLC. She is originally from Laurinburg, North
Carolina. Brandi grew up in a family of educators. They encouraged her to be the best person she could possibly be, stressed hard work, and also taught her to serve others.
Brandi is a licensed attorney in the state of North Carolina. She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina, a Master of
Arts degree in History from North Carolina Central University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Upon graduation from college, Brandi began academic pursuits in teaching. She taught middle and high school social studies in Durham Public Schools where she also worked as the coordinator for the
International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma Programs at Hillside High School. Brandi also served as Magnet Coordinator in the Wake County Public School System. She has developed and
presented training regarding instructional delivery, the International Baccalaureate Program, and the North Carolina Social Studies Standard Course of Study. Brandi also consulted with school systems
across the country to help them implement their own IB Programs.
While in law school, Brandi served as a legal intern with the Education Section of the North Carolina Department of Justice Attorney General North Carolina State Department of Education where she
researched and wrote educational policy. She also sharpened her legal skills as an intern in the Alamance County District Attorney’s Office. She served her law school as Vice President of the
Student Bar Association.
Because of her expertise and advocacy, Attorney Bullock is a fixture in the media. She has been featured on the UNC-TV show, Black Issues Forum, and the WUNC radio show, The State of
Things, where she spoke on the important issue of the School to Prison Pipeline. The School to Prison Pipeline is a system of educational policies that push students out of school and into
the juvenile justice system or adult criminal court system. The School to Prison Pipeline disproportionately affects African American males and students with disabilities.
Jones Bullock, PLLC was established in 2013 as a general law practice focusing in the areas of family law, wills and estates, educational law, traffic and criminal defense. The law firm strives to
provide the highest quality legal representation to her clients in Scotland and Hoke County.
